So guys, you have just witnessed another way to harness the herbal properties of my teas. This simple syrup can be used as a cordial with still or sparkling water if you're tee-total and also reconstituted with hot water as a tea. You still get all the benefits from the herbs.
Be as simple or as creative as you wish.
INGREDIENTS
3 tbsp - loose leaf teas of choice (if a woody blend such as Happiness its best to boil the tea)
Freshly boiled distilled or filtered water
3 cups - brown sugar/honey
3 cups - of brewed tea
Just follow the simple instructions in the video a enjoy.
Also if you want a thicker richer syrup add honey or more sugar. And yes I harp on about eliminating sugar from your diet but trust me this wouldn't be an every day way to have herbals. I find the 1:1 ratio of sugar to liquid ample enough.
This recipe can be carried out with any herbal tea mix have fun and give it a go.... Which tea will you use and how will you drink yours?
